The story of the Film Jimmy is about a mediocre family in which the young kid of the family Jimmy attempts at being a bread winner and he put himself out to make money to meet the family needs. The young guy is basically a car engineer. In the morning he works at the auto garage and at night he goes to night clubs to for a DJ job. The simple diligent man is faced with a spinning point in his life and that alters not only his view towards life but also his way of life and personality. Jimmy adopts the risky exigent job into a novel direction away from his simple middle class mentality and goes on to a new-fangled journey.

The efforts of the young guy Jimmy to beat obstacles of his life are demonstrated in the movie. The film is considered to be a rock-hard platform to debut Mimoh and has some celebrated names of bollywood films associated to it to endorse its worth.
