Showbiz Music Review

In this movie, Showbiz, the music section has been handled by Lalit  Pandit (of the Jatin-Lalit fame), and Bhatt's stable lyricist, Sayeed Quadri. So let us explore this hottest offering from the Bhatt camp.

Light guitar strumming along with canned ovation instigate, 'Tu Mujhse Jabse Mila Hai', rendered by K.K. The canned ovation suggests that it may be a stage performance song and as a result one anticipated the song to be more lively and bouncy. Yet that is not the case.

A rock-like launch, together with a rap by Earl, which goes something like this - "Let's do it tonight, while the world is slumbering," starts the next version, which can be categorized as a remix. The flat beat and pace continues and that's where the trouble lies. Earl's blow doesn't help the cause much.

It appears that Lalit grasped his mistake pretty swift and he makes compensation with the very next number, 'Meri Phalak Ka Tu Hi Sitara'. This Song will absolutely rate as the most excellent songs of the album, a song commendable and in keeping with the Jatin-Lalit birthright and the Bhatt banner.

Gorgeous flute notes and light guitar strumming start the unplugged lines of 'Meri Phalak Ka Tu Hi Sitara'. The composition is akin to the first one, but as it's an unplugged version, there are no grave musical measures here, only light ones like flute, guitar along with plate sounds are used to provide the desired result. K.K.'s strapping and masculine vocals ring shrill and clear. This version has its own attraction and is immediately likeable.
