Welcome Music Review

Composed by a group of music directors - Himesh Reshammiya, Anand Raj Anand with Sajid-Wajid - the composition of "Welcome" is regrettably not welcoming at all.

Starting with a minute piece of Indianised rap and then adhering to a track that people nowadays wouldn't want listening to is "Hoth Rasiley". This Song Composed by Anand Raj Anand, it is just a funky number.

Himesh Reshammiya's composition is heard after a long time in "Insha Allah"; his brand new approach of putting in all his sentiments into a track is obvious. Sung by Shaan, Akruti Kakkar and Krishna, it doesn't have much to brag of and can be hopped without a second thought.

"Kiya Kiya" is neither appealing nor tempting. Though better than the earlier two renditions, there is no way "Kiya Kiya" will turn out to be a hit!

"Kola laka vellari" tracks now. It doesn't carry much let-up. Composed and made by Reshammiya, the composition sounds rhythmic. Sameer's lyrics aren't striking either.

The upcoming song is the Punjabi number "Uncha lamba kad". It is better than the other lyrics in the album, but has no lasting bang.

Downloads of  The title song "Welcome" is an absolute celebration number. The lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed are satisfactory but the track would have sounded much superior if the add-on instruments had a diversity of melodies.
